New Bob Garnered BCA Greenmark Awards of Singapore

NEW BOB, THE FIRST FROM PENANG TO GARNER BCA GREENMARK AWARDS OF SINGAPORE

New Bob Group’s green projects were bestowed with BCA Green Mark Gold Plus for “The Manor”, and BCA Green Mark Gold for “Preston Oaks” by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Scheme. The Managing Director of New Bob Group, Dr. Lee Ville graced the stage to receive the noble awards during the BCA Awards presentation ceremony in Singapore on 14th May 2015. 

New Bob Group has gone a long way to achieve the success that the company is currently savouring. The company is celebrating it’s 56th anniversary this year as the first real estate company in Penang island. The northern region leading real estate company employs a very diversified business module ranging from property development, property management, assisting expatriates to obtain legal residency in Malaysia to rent-a-car.

As for development, the company always places emphasis on building eco-friendly green homes and brought the green development concept into Penang with hopes of fostering healthy mother earth for a greener future generation. This includes maximizing the use of natural energy in reducing the consumption of energy from non-renewable sources to reduce carbon footprint. The BCA Green Mark scheme was initiated in 2005 at Singapore as the key strategic programme to address the awareness of sustainable and environmentally friendly buildings. It evaluates buildings for their environmental impact and performance. This involves accessing a building’s performance such as energy efficiency, water efficiency, sustainable management and operation, indoor environmental quality and other green features.
