New Bob Group’s latest green projects were awarded with platinum for The Manor, and gold for Preston Oaks by Green RE. The Managing Director of New Bob Group, Dr. Lee Ville graced the stage to receive the prestigious awards during the prize presentation ceremony at Wisma Rehda, Kuala Lumpur on 20th June 2014 which garnered the participation of numerous renowned local developers.

Initiated by REHDA, GreenRE is a green building and carbon rating tool that is committed to encourage the property development industry to be sustainable, and emphasizing on passive design. It involves accessing a building’s performance such as energy efficiency, water efficiency, environmental protection, indoor environmental quality and carbon emissions of the development. There would be 4 rating categories under GreenRE namely Platinum (score of 95 and above), Gold (85-94), Silver(75-84), and Bronze (50-74). Every building certified GreenRE will have to be reaccessed every 3 years to ensure its sustainability.

The company always places emphasis on building eco-friendly green homes and brought the green development concept into Penang with hopes of fostering healthy mother earth for a greener future generation. The manor is an eco-friendly bungalow project that consists of merely 3 exclusive units.
